Five Ab Exercises With Belly Flattening Results

Forget useless equipment such as those old ab-rockers and the like that you see advertised on TV if you want to gain great abs. To gain sexy, six-pack abs, you need serious exercises to give you serious results. Here are five ab exercises with proven belly-flattening results.

1) The crunch. Tried and true, the crunch is a variation on the traditional sit-up. Start by lying on your back with your knees bent at a 90-degree angle. Place your hands on either side of your head (don't lock your fingers together as you can injure your neck this way) and slowly roll your upper body up to a 45-degree angle. Take your time, and do slow and controlled crunches for maximum belly-flattening results. Don't try to rush and let momentum carry you through the exercise as you are wasting your time and energy.

2) V-sits. Start by lying on the floor with your arms extended over your head and your toes pointed away from your body. Lift your legs and arms off the ground simultaneously, and roll your upper body up while lifting your legs up to a 45-degree angle. Hold the position for a few seconds, then lower to the start position.

3) The plank. This is a truly effective exercise for core-strengthening and building great abs. Start out lying on your stomach, hands at shoulder level, and rise up into a push-up position. Instead of doing a push-up, hold yourself up on your toes with your arms extended for incredible belly-flattening results. When you get stronger, you can raise one leg off the ground for increased ab-tightening results.

4) Bicycle pedal. Start in the same position you would in a crunch, but pull one knee in towards your body, and twist the opposite elbow to that knee. Change sides and repeat. Again, do the exercise in a slow and controlled motion for the most benefits in getting those great abs.

5) Swiss ball. This is a variation on the crunch, but you will need a swiss (exercise ball) for this one. If you are purchasing a new exercise ball, make sure you buy the appropriate size for your height (the packaging will indicate which one is right for you.) Sit on the ball, keep your feet on the ground and lean back into a crunch position and roll up. The ball makes you slightly unsteady, which engages your abs to work harder.

It goes without saying that you can do all the ab exercises in the world but you won't see any real results until you lose the overlying fat that obscures your abs. You need proper diet, cardio and weight training in conjunction with any ab exercises to truly flatten your belly. Incorporate these with the ab exercises listed above and you can be sporting sexy, six-pack abs in less time than you think.

Safe Usage of a Sauna Suit

Yes a sauna suit is a perfectly safe piece of workout gear that is designed to help you lose weight. But if not used properly you could defiantly find yourself in trouble. Just like anything if a sauna suit is abused you will put yourself in danger of health risk that can be fatal. You should know how it works for one; a sauna suit is designed to insulate your body so that it will pump out unneeded sweat that your body naturally stores.

Since you body will be covered from your neck down to your ankles it leaves no room for the body to release the heat it is creating meaning the body just keeps getting hotter and hotter which means more sweat. Now if you are sweating that much you are losing a lot of your bodies water and salt and other toxins and as much as some of those toxins you don't need the water you are losing you do need. So what does this mean? You guessed it; you need to drink water or some type of re-hydration liquid. If you do not drink water and ignore the symptoms of dehydration then your body will get extremely weak and possibly make you pass out.

Another problem that you can have is overheating which can lead to a heat stroke. Keeping yourself hydrated and paying attention to the clement that you are working out in should leave you with no worries of a heat stroke. You should not work out in a sauna suit if the clement at any time could exceed 80 degrees unless you only plan on setting around in it. Also when thinking about the clement if you are heating up and you are working out hard and it gets to warm it's possible you could experience skin burnouts. So even thou you want to work out hard do not get so caught up in feeling the burn of your workout but not feeling the burn of your skin. What Causes Hair Loss

The number one cause of hair loss in men is Male Pattern Baldness or MPB. This form of hair loss is easy to spot because the man generally loses his hair in patches. It usually starts at the front of the scalp above the forehead and tends to move backwards toward the crown of the head on both sides. The classic widow's peak is a great example of male pattern baldness. The hair thins and falls out from the front to the back.

The other place this loss of hair shows up early is on the crown of the head. I am sure you have seen men with hair on their entire head except the bald spot right on the crown. The bald spot at the center of the head is another dead giveaway that the man suffers from MPB.

This form of hair loss is caused by increased levels of DHT in the body. DHT is a metabolite of the male hormone testosterone. This hormone is actually present in both men and women which explains why women can be affected by the same condition. In women it is referred to as Female Pattern Baldness or FPB.

The hair loss is caused by a build up of DHT on the hair follicles between the follicles and the blood supply. This build up eventually stops the transfer of oxygen and nutrients to the hair. This usually occurs over several months or years which is why the condition is progressive. Once the build up is enough to stop complete transfer of the necessary nutrients and oxygen the hair dies and falls out. At this point the only method of effective hair re-growth is hair transplantation or hair implants.
